Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival day in Lima and Transfer to the Hotel | Night in Lima

We begin our services Peru Exploring its Wonders waiting for your arrival at the Lima Airport with a representative of our agency

Our assistant will be waiting for you with your name on a sign and then transfer you to your  hotel.

Depending on the time of your arrival in Lima, you can take an optional tour:

– Magic Water Circuit Tour.
– Tour to the Archaeological Site of Pachacamac

Day 2: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial and Modern Lima City Tour – Night in Lima

In the morning pick up from the hotel to begins the tour in Lima.

Our tour introduces Lima and its three historical periods: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial and Modern.

We present a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana“, visited the impressive Historical Center of Lima: Its palaces, mansions, churches and squares ending with a visit to the residential and business district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean in the district Miraflores, then you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 3: Lima – Paracas – Paracas National Reserve – Night in Paracas

05:40 a.m. Pick up time from you hotel in Lima and transfer to the tourist bus Cruz del Sur for your departure to Paracas

09:50 a.m. Arrival time in Paracas andtransfer to the hotel.

11:00 a.m. Paracas National Reserve

This tour we will do by peninsula of Paracas making stops and short walks, through the cliffs of the coastal desert gazing the colorful desert redness, yellow, we will observe the rocky formations made by the erosion of the wind and the sea.

Also we will know beaches like Red beach, the Istmo Viewpoint. the Mina beach, here you can enjoy and swim on this beautiful beach, you can do a walk around, look for the best pictures, then we will go to Lagunilla beach
Then we will return to Paracas at 15:00 hrs and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Ballestas Islands – Huacachina Oasis and Night en Nazca

07:40 a.m. Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the tourist pier.

08:00 a.m. Tour Ballestas Islands and Candelabro by speed boat (2 hour tour).
On the Ballestas Islands Tour you will be able to appreciate the Candelabro from very close and a fabulous marine fauna, as well as large colonies of sea lions on the island’s beaches and rocks.

It is also possible to see groups of Humboldt penguins, as well as a great variety of coastal birds and guanos, such as cormorants, boobies, pelicans, seagulls, and tendrils and you will appreciate rock formations and the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, then we will return to port at 10:00 a.m.

12:00 hrs. We will board our tourist bus to continue touring the south of Peru, we will take a trip of approximately one and a half hours until we reach the Huacachina Oasis.

Huacachina is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains of sand, trees around the lagoon and a boardwalk lined with restaurants where you can have lunch and walk around.

16:00 hrs. We will board a Buggy to go up and down the dunes that surround the Huacachina Oasis, we will cross a large part of the desert, doing pirouettes through the sand mountains, at the same time We will observe the capricious shapes in the dunes made by the winds, we will also make stops to take photos and in the high parts to do the sport known as sandboarding, our driver and guide will teach you safely do it

18:30 hrs Pick up from Huacachina and transfer to the Cruz del Sur tourist bus station in Ica.

21:30 hrs Arrival time in Nazca | Reception and transfer to the hotel. Aso you will be informed of your pick-up time for the next day and some recommendations for the overflight nazca lines

Day 5: Nazca lines overflight

We will continue with our Peru Exploring its Wonders service fn the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel to transfer you to the Maria Reiche Aerodrome

Before the overflight we will show an informative video about the Nazca Lines.
In this way you will have a better idea about these archaeological remains, and you will also be able to become familiar with the designs that you will see from the air.

The type of planes we use to fly over the Nazca lines are small planes and each one with a window seat so that you can appreciate the figures properly.

The flight lasts about 35 minutes, and during this time you will be able to see perfect representations of huge animals, such as birds, including a condor, a hummingbird, a pelican, a parrot, among other lines.

You will also be able to observe the monkey, a spider, a whale, a lizard, and a famous design known as the astronaut.

You will see hundreds of lines that run throughout the desert and large geometric figures that resemble huge landing strips.

Then you will be transferred to the hotel ( free time)

Once the flight is over, you will continue tthe trip to Arequipa

Day 6: Arrival day to  Arequipa  Arequipa| City Tour Arequipa – Night in  Arequipa

08:30 a.m.  Arrival time  and pick up from bus station and transfer to the hotel.

Free Day:

Arequipa is a beautiful city, you can explore the historic center and the delicious food. You will behave directions to places and restaurants

Day 7: Arequipa – Chivay – Night in Chivay

08:00 am. We will begin with the pick-up from your hotel and you will board our Tourist transportation  to leave from the city of Arequipa to the town of Chivay with stops along the route and our guide will explain you the importance of this Valley.

You’ll also appreciate camelids such as vicuna and llamas also make stops in Pata Pampa (Mirador de los Andes is the highest part of the route with an altitude of 4800 meters above sea level), then we reach the village of Chivay  and in the afternoon visit to the thermal baths

Day 8: Colca Canyon –  Night to Puno

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel to go towards natural Mirador known as La Cruz del Condor, along the way we will stop at key points in which spectacular views of the Colca River

We will see hanging tombs dating from the pre-Columbian era, agricultural terraces of over a thousand years, among others. Through our local guide we learn many aspects of the different indigenous groups that inhabited and still inhabit the Colca Valley

Then we reach the famous Cruz del Condor, here we will have an hour approximately to admire the natural beauty of the canyon offers and also to observe the flight of the Condor.
They can also take short walks around. Later we start our return towards Chivay, visiting some typical villages on the route. In the village of Chivay , will stop for lunch.

Day 9: Tour to Lake Titicaca, Uros Floating Islands and Taquile

Day 10: Taquile Islands and Amantani – Return to Puno

After breakfast, we will continue with our tour and we will visit the largest island in the lake, Amantani Island, this island extends for 9.29 km2 and in this part of Lake Titicaca, its inhabitants have also maintained their traditions and their native language known as Aymara.

The inhabitants of Amantani Island depend on agriculture, livestock, artisanal fishing and the production of traditional fabrics.
Here you will be welcome to interact with the locals and learn their customs. Then after lunch we will return to Puno.

Day 11: Puno – Cusco – Ruta del Sol

06:50 am . You will be picked up from your hotel to transfer you to the tourist bus to head towards Cusco.

The Ruta del Sol will take you to many Inca, pre-Inca and colonial settlements along the way. Thus, you will learn a little more about our ancestors and some of the most important periods in Peruvian history.

We will visit places such as the Pucará Archaeological Site, a pre-Inca structure built by the Pucará culture that took place between 400 BC. and 200 B.C. We also will visit Raqchi, the South Valley and other archaeological sites just before arriving in Cusco.

Day 12: City Tour Cusco

In this day of Peru Exploring its Wonders;, we will start the City tour Cusco, visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha;

you will ake a pleasant walk in the bohemian district of San Blas, home of the most renowned artists and craftsmen of Cusco, also you will visit its beautiful church with an impressive pulpit, work of filigran wood representing the fruits of the region, you also will appreciate the Stone of Twelve Angles.

Then we will visit the Inca archaeological sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones joined with astounding precision to form the outer walls. Some of them standing over 9 m high and weighing over 350 tons.

Day 13: Sacred Valley of the Incas and Aguas Calientess.

08:00 a.m. In the morning we will begin the Tour Sacred Valley of the Incas and where you will can appreciate the typical Indian market that takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, you will know the customs of its people in a typical market. (Sunday Mass is celebrated in Quechua, the native language).

We will visit the colonial town of Pisac and the Inca ruins located above the town about 1900 feet, you will can to walk wander through the ruins looking observing the magnificent agricultural terraces found around the mountain and the valley,

On the way you will know Urubamba and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, It consists of a series of superimposed terraces. You will have the opportunity to walk the streets of the town and get a clear idea of ​​what this military, religious and cultural center during the Inca Empire.

Then we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, a town located in the middle of the jungle mountains, surrounded by a majestic natural setting.

Day 14: Tour in Machu Picchu – Cusco

Early morning transfer to the bus station to take the bus to take us on a journey of 25 minutes by a zigzag path to the marvelous citadel of Machu Picchu.

On arrival at Machu Picchu you will have a guided tour of the Inca citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and cemeteries, then have free time to take a stroll through the citadel.

After our time in Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes to return to the city of Cusco.

Day 15: Transfer from Hotel to Cusco Airport

Tip: If your flight from Cusco to Lima leaves in the afternoon, we encourage you to visit some of the museums in the historic center:
