Chincha Petroglyphs Tour, it is said that the Huancor Petroglyphs were made before the Christian era, some scientists point out that in the part of the archaeological complex there are signs of the place where sacrifices were made, the concavities made to deposit blood would have no other purpose than to perform religious rites and ceremonies.

The origin of the name Huancor comes from the Quechua “Huancoy” which means silver mine or “Huancuy” which is equivalent to “cutting members” or “huanco” which is broken.

Huancor Chincha Petroglyphs Tour, We will start our tour heading towards the Huancor petroglyphs with a trip of approximately 40 minutes, on the route we will appreciate the chincha ravine and we will cross the shingles, a route of winding curves.

Upon reaching Huancor we will start a walk along a path that will take us to the figures engraved on rock which can be seen in a large part of the valley of stones and hills surrounded by large engraved stones, we will be observing this place for approximately 1 hour.

Then we will board our private mobility to leave for Alto Laran until we reach the Casa Hacienda de Laran, upon arrival we will appreciate its corridors, we will enter the hacienda to observe its structure, a large part of its compartments and its imposing Chapel that measures approximately 15 meters high, this impressive architecture shows us part of history and is said to date from 1537 and where the Jesuits settled.

After getting to know this impressive architecture, we will go to the center of the Alto Laran District to observe the Pedron de Alto Laran and we will learn about its legend about this imposing stone located in the center of town.

After getting to know these impressive tourist attractions, we will board our mobility to take them to a restaurant with typical food from the region.

Then you will be transferred to your hotel or bus station in Chincha.
