Itinerary

El Catador Artisanal Winery:

This is an artisan winery frequented by national and foreign tourists who visit the lands of Ica. This winery is a winner of national awards thanks to its original products such as the semi-prepared Pisco Sour and the fine Pisco Cream. It is located in the Tres Esquinas farmhouse in the Subtanjalla district.

Lazo Artisan-Museum Winery:

Lazo is also another artisan winery and although it is true that the Piscos, Wines and Cachinas are the main attraction of this tour, it should be noted that the Bodega Lazo keeps in its authentic Spanish cellar from the 16th and 17th centuries, not only its wine products, but also another additional attraction:

A rustic museum spontaneously implemented in the same cellar, where you can see collection pieces such as mummified trophy heads, ceramics, goldsmith work, remains of cloaks from Pre-Hispanic cultures and other pieces such as weapons of all kinds and from all times, also paintings and stuffed animals among other collector’s items. It is located in the hamlet of Camino de Reyes.

Tacama Industrial Wine Cellar:

The Tacama Hacienda produces excellent quality wines and piscos: It is located in one of the oldest Hacienda Houses in the valley. It was built in the 16th century and is of colonial architecture.

When the Spanish arrived in Peru, they introduced the vine and its spread was rapid. Carabantes created the Tacama vineyard in the Ica oasis, which is the oldest in Peru. The Vineyard has a total extension of 180 Hectares and is located in the Ica Valley, a fertile oasis surrounded by deserts 300 km. from Lima and 400 m.s.n.m. It is one of the most important in the country.
